OpenBCI

OpenBCI, short for Open-Source Brain-Computer Interface, represents a cutting-edge technology that enables direct communication between the human brain and digital devices. It acts as a bridge, decoding brain signals and translating them into meaningful instructions that can be used to control various applications and systems. OpenBCI empowers individuals to explore the depths of neurotechnology, unlocking a myriad of possibilities for research, rehabilitation, and entertainment.

Moving Minds

In the Moving Minds game, OpenBCI functions as the catalyst that bridges the chasm between the player’s mind and the virtual realm. By wearing the OpenBCI headset, the user can control the “Lampy” character in game in order to advance to the next levels. While playing, players transmit subtle electrical signals generated by their brains. These signals, known as electroencephalograms (EEGs), are then transmitted to the game system for real-time processing, where an AI-algorithm is used to determine the wanted action by the user, which is then transmitted to the game.
